CELERY DROPS

A quick way to boost your nutrition is through celery drops. We created this recipe using simple but powerful ingredients to deliver a spicy shot of wellness fairly easily.

CELERY: Celery contains vitamin C, beta carotene, and at least 12 additional kinds of antioxidant nutrients in a single stalk. It’s also a wonderful source of phyto-nutrients, which can reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, cells, blood vessels, and organs. It also contains magnesium, iron, and sodium… which can help alkalize the body.

GINGER: ginger increases serotonin and dopamine levels. This can reduce inflammation, and can also combat anxiety, depression, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and post-traumatic stress disorder. Ginger can also be used to treat nausea, motion sickness, and settle an upset stomach.

LEMON: Two compounds compounds found in lemons — hesperidin and diosmin — have been found to lower cholesterol. Lemon juice may also help prevent kidney stones. Because lemons contain both vitamin C and citric acid, they may protect against anemia by ensuring that you absorb as much iron as possible from your diet.

SERRANO PEPPER: This spicy little pepper is a great source of vitamin C, potassium, copper, and manganese. It also contains calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, selenium, folate, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, and choline. If that’s not enough, it also has a little bit of protein for good measure.
